There are a few things known to cause this.
Just in case, here's my usual copy-paste for mods not working. Just to make sure, you're running the game through MO2, right? A decent amount of people seem to miss that step somehow. Just drag and drop any mod archives from wherever they were previously being stored to the MO2 downloads folder and they will appear in the downloads tab in the left pane of MO and can be installed normally.Īlso make sure that when you are launching New Vegas through MO that you select 'New Vegas' from the dropdown menu and NOT 'NVSE' as with the 4gb patch installed NVSE should automatically launch when the patched game executable is launched. This should fix your ability to download NXM links, but you may have to reinstall your mods to the new portable instance you just created. Remember to hit the 'Associate with 'Download with manager' links' button. Select New Vegas as the game to manage from the next menu.Ĭlick on the 'Settings' button at the top and setup your connection as usual on the 'Nexus' tab.
Select 'Portable' from the selection menu to use the ModOrganizer folder to store data. While MO2 is running click on the Instance Selection button in the top left of the program. Make sure that MO2 is setup to run as a portable instance.
